Okay, now I'm seriously confused, LOL. Someone please clear this up so I can understand...

Alex was referring to Gatti's wife (allegedly) murdering him. I meant to focus my post on Paulie's tribute to him getting messed up by a horrid judges' decision that even the commentators called "inexplicable". Also, b/c there are other issues of: substance abuse, domestic violence and possible suicide surrounding the death.

Cotto vs Pacquiao on and before that Marquez vs Mayweather. Who do you have?

PBF by unanimous dec. Sadly, he needs dominant stoppage to try to gain anything (business-wise) off this win. The PPV #s are going to be bad & he needs some leverage to try to get a split purse or even close to it for negotiations w/ a possible Pacquiao fight.

Pacman by late stoppage or decision; dunno which. Much like alot of us thought about our beloved "G", the longer this goes, the more it it is his.

Good point here PoD.

The best scenario for a Pacquiao-Mayweather mega fight is if both Mayweather and Pacquiao win impressively in their respective bouts -- which will give a huge payday to everyone involved.

If this was up to me though, I'd have a Pacquiao-Mayweather and a Pacquiao-Marquez III -- which might happen sooner if Marquez wins :D

Personally, I'd like JMM to win over potty mouth PBF...

4sure Aiki,  a longshot of PBF's past rib injury and Marquez' body attacks meeting up would be nice.

No matter the outcome of either, I can see PBF as the sole cause for the fight not going down. Even if he somehow loses and after PaC wins, I can see dude still arguing for split purse or maybe even more.

Hopefully it does or this'll be my version of my older brother's dream fight that never happened, B-Hop vs. RJJ

I won't argue with this, PBF will still likely ask for more, and for sure Arum will NOT be cool with that.

B-Hop vs. RJJ -
I guess we'll have to settle with RJJ vs Anderson Silva, LOL :P

BTW, did anyone see Latin Fury 11 this weekend?

In another boxing event, I'm happy to announce that Ana Julaton won the IBA Super Bantamweight title against Kelsey Jeffries (I thought underdog, good-looking girls would lose at the HP Pavilion -- just like our girl G -- but it turned out surprisingly well for Julaton.)

I'm not sure there's going to be a Pacman-JMM III though... That would be great to watch (and I'm sure I won't have to start nodding off in the middle of the fight)

Wow, Randy Couture vs Brandon Vera on Nov 14, and Kim Couture vs Kerry Vera the week after.  Who do you think will win? The Coutures or the Veras?

November sure is a busy month for fighting: Nov 7, Fedor vs Brett Rogers, Nov 14 Pacquiao vs Cotto.

I think I'm going to watch Pacman vs Cotto live AND Randy vs Brandon rerun.

What about you guys?
