Need volunteer to post up articles (media related articles)

Hey guys,

As you can see, I've been trying to post any news I could find. I sorta put a little bit of pressure on myself to try to update the site atleast twice a week. I just don't like seeing the page be stagnant for too long, and that's why i posted up wallpapers when there was no news.

I'd like to know if any of you (or a couple of you) would like to take the responsbility of posting up any new media, whether it be new wallpapers, new photos, or new videos. You check out any of my previous articles where i've posted up pics and youtube clips and sorta follow that template if you want. There's no pressure, you don't have to fill a quota or anything every week, its just whenever you feel like it. Oh, and if you'd rather post news instead or have any other ideas for updates, let me know as well.

I don't know if there is still an issue with not being able to re-edit articles after you posted them, but I will certainly edit them for you if necessary. You can PM me or reply in this thread if you're interested. Thanks!

Just published a great new interview with Gina on the main site. I tried to pay attention to all the little details this time, so MK, let me know if I did it okay, or what I need to focus on next time.  ;)

It's a little long, I would trim it down more, and also you shouldn't post up the entire article on our site. Post up the most interesting chunks of it and then link to the source.

Aside from that it looks pretty good.

Don't forget, you can post up new photos too, not just news. There's tons of photos that have been posted in this forum and gallery that hasn't been put up on the front page.

You have to realize that a great deal of people visit the site for the photos alone; alot of them don't even care about the news. If we post up new photos from time to time, it will make visitors aware that we update our photo's regularly. And that equals more return visitors  :)

Well, if you pay look at the website links on the left side of the front page, those are some of the sites i visit to get news.

Also, many of my articles have come from news and photos that people simply post up on this forum or in the chatbox. You just have to pay attention.

What I was doing as well was going to Google under News, Type in Gina Carano and sort it by date... ;)

That's not a good way to look for news because all you will find is news about Gina herself. You've seen in my other articles where i post about other women fighters, such as cyborg, kim couture, erin toughill, tara larosa etc..., those subjects are all Gina related

There's a lot of stuff out there that i've past up on because of time constraints that you guys could be posting, but doesn't get posted up. For instance, there was news that came out yesterday about sarah kaufman replacing Kim couture after she bailed on her fight. I'm not posting it, but someone else can if they want. It would be worthy of a front page post.

Well at the time I created the site, I was gonna keep it strictly Gina related, but it's taken a turn to an overall/anything Women MMA related...lol. Which is great! That wasn't my only way of searching news......

tried to put up the Kaufman/Tate article, didn't work. Someone else wanna put it up I'll send PM the article.
