Nothing I have said has came true, come on, you cant be serious?  Yes I believe the deal was in the works before the fight, and after the outcome negotiations became real serious.  I am not sure why everyone isnt so happy for her?  This is a Gina Carano fan site and now she has the opportunity to be a huge star and have a much happier life than fighting MMA.  I am a huge MMA fan and have many friends that do it and I realize how much work it takes and how brutal it is.  I really question if some of you really want the best for this amazing young lady or you just want to see her fight.  I am starting to get disgusted with some of the posters.

I am w/ you on this; am happy for her opportunity with this movie thing, but the lack of explicit mention of continuing to fight in her Yardblurb equaling quit isn't as plain to see as a likely trip to HollyWood, much less your insurmountable Cyborg opinion which you look to believe Gina also shares. She made it to where she has to the point of getting such an offer in the "brutal and harsh" mma world; was she just lucky up till Cyborg in your opinion?

Glad to hear someone else is happy for her.  I never based my views on her yardbarker statement or any one thing in particular, including her realization that Cyborg is on a different level than anyone else.   I was never implying that Gina was not tough enough for the mma world.  And NO, I sure as heck dont think Gina was lucky.  In my opinion Gina is one of the best female MMA fighters in the world, her victories over Young, Evinger, Kobold, and Maxwell prove that.   I enjoy your sarcasm.

In my opinion it's pointless to be arguing over these things. Honestly, Gina makes her own decisions... She certainly doesn't need us telling her what to do with her life. Our opinions aren't going to influence her decisions in any way. I'm happy for her, and if acting is something she wants to pursue, then kudo's to her. I'll be supporting her no matter what she does, or doesn't do. I support the person that is Gina, not the "character" or "image". My opinion on this movie: I can't wait to see it.

Hey if the movie fails she will say  "I know I was  a better actress than what I showed in the film". 

I'm just joking around but I'm sure I'll get killed for it.  I'm just disappointed to hear she's doing a movie instead of putting all her focus in fighting.

I'm now starting to wonder whose fan site this is... Detractors are now starting to annoy me.

Gina is a great fighter -- but she's so much more than just that. Some people can do it all, and G is one of those people.

Besides, a starring role in a major movie with a great director is something you don't pass up sober. And I love spy movies, so G in a spy movie is just heavenly. I'm so excited to see this movie.
