I would've said the Kate Beckinsale, Rhona Mitra type like Dante said but those chicks kinda lose me. I don't find them to be convincing like Summer Glau or Milla Jovovich. Sorry dante  :(

I meant more the action fem type in animes. Stereotypical part, not main character roles (Fujiko, Mai Shiranui etc..), and Gina not necessarily being the voice and model for one, BUT if there's any live person James Cameron should be modeling after or inspired by for his upcoming "Battle Angel" (think "A.I" meets The Fifth Element) it's Gina.

maybe a better example of type for her than anime would be any of the Bond movie girls or the old B-movie baddasses. Any further would be main character, expectation & content necessary types like: Glau, Jovovich, Carrie-Ann Moss (Matrix)

well in my opinion i really liked the action in the movies with kate beckinsale and rhona mitra. I thought they were great for that part and i could imagine gina carano in those films

She should stick to B movies like Blood & Bone until she can better develop her acting skills before stepping up to starring roles. As much as i like both Gina Carano and Wonder Woman, the two don't go together unless you have some decent acting chops.

I don't want Wonder Woman to just come out like Crush with a tiara if you know what I mean.  It's hard following someone like Lynda Carter who embodied her role like no other since Christopher Reeves did Superman.

Even then I think thats a stretch. I read alot of criticism on the latest Bond girl (some Russian model) as being bland. I didn't know there was such expectation (haven't seen the Craig films yet). Do the smaller part female villains or adversaries to the good Bond girls count, cuz I think that'd be feasible actually. Or... that same role but in the Get Smart sequel. :)

Nah, she's not that bad. She's only bland compared to Eva Green from Casino Royale. But i think she's better than all of the bond girls from the Brosnan-era.

And I dont think Fedor fits the image of Superman at all if it werent for him being the greatest MMA fighter on earth.
