Have you done any sparring yet or is that still a long way away........also are there any other beginners close to your level there?

Nah, sparring is a ways off for me anyway. I would like to greatly improve my flexibility, strength and balance first. I did not start from a good place! I've also just had my 3rd class, which went better than my 2nd. I have a couple more posts up on the site, and I will add a post about the 3rd class tonight, maybe.

Eoin,
Such admiration for you getting into Muay Thai. I hope it goes well for you. My husband started to get into Kenpo Karate here in the states but felt it was more geared towards fitness than actual fighting. He is still shopping around for a gym. I am hesitant to try it myself though I would love it. I have a bad knee too.
