She's always been a striker. But now she also has very good takedown defense and good BJJ defense. It's quite prototypical of a good striker that is adapting to MMA. She's got good enough wrestling and balance to be on top when it hits the ground and when she's on the bottom, she can get out of it without too many problems.
Her ground and pound is average and I think she still needs work on her BJJ offense. She could have finished off Kaitlin Young in that rear naked choke at the end of the round, but due to lack of technique, it took her too long to cinch it up. I notice she tries to go for a rubber guard alot when she ends up on the bottom and tries for the gogoplata unsuccessfully. I'd like to see her train with someone like Eddie Bravo that can teach her how to master that technique.
