Well I just think it's a little creepy when you make polls that are personal about someone, no matter who it is. I don't think it bodes well for the site as far frontpage material goes. I'd rather keep it more professional and less on the fanboy side.

well i would've never suggested it for the front page. There weren't any polls in forums so i just thought of one of the top of my head. I really didnt think it was that creepy tho. It's just like asking someone what they would do if they had one day left on earth.

That's not creepy because it only concerns yourself. It's when you include yourself with Gina in the same question that it starts to get creepy.

I voted Yes to the poll.

I think Strikeforce is the best place for her because they already have a roster of female talent; one of the key talents being Cyborg. They are also the biggest and most successful organization to have put on female MMA fights.

UFC/WEC on the other had has zero female talent and even if they put forth the effort to put in a new division for women and sign the fighters, that would prolong things even longer before Gina will be able to fight. If or when WEC wants to get serious about female MMA, then Gina will be there eventually. Until then, Strikeforce is where she should be. One fight deals are ok, but I would rather see a structure in place for a womens division for Gina to fight in, and that is something that Strikeforce is in prime position to do at this point.

Am I presuming too much in thinking that getting good potential opponents for Gina if she signs w/ Zuffa will be quite easy?

I've heard the notion that for a while Julie Kedzie became the 2nd most known feMMA fighter (this side of Japan) b/c of Gina's fight w/ her. I can't see why anyone would turn down the chance and its not like a losing effort in a Zuffa venued fight wouldn't up their price. Its a win/win, imo.

Of Course, the long term ownership, likeness rights, sponsorship limitations, etc (the usual Zuffa- I own your *ss stuff) is a definite concern tho.

No the potential is there, the problem is Zuffa itself which has not expressed any interest in female MMA aside from a single comment from Dana White.

I don't even know if Dana White even has much control over what the WEC does, which is a seperate entity under Zuffa.
