The Karate Kid. Loved the original films when I was a kid, so just had to see the remake. :)

Was late year I saw "Ink 2009" but was a nice one. Almost fell asleep during the first 20 min of it but the movie kinda pieces it self together like a puzzle and ended up being a great one.

Never watched that one ^^. Went to go watch 'Due Date', but missed the last 30 minutes.

Inception:  Finally a movie that lives up to the hype.

The Exam:  Good reviews on Netflix, is a low budget one but definitely worth seeing.

Went to go watch 'Black Swan' last night. Brilliant film, and if you have not yet seen it, do yourself a favor. I am not saying anything, you be the judge and decide what you make of it. I left the cinema with the movie playing over and over in my mind.. And that is a good thing.

Battle Royale (2000)

I've been told to watch it for the longest time and funny enough, did around the release time of 'The Hunger Games', which is the "Twilight' version according to many. Haven't read either of the books they're adapted from, but the consensus is even more disparate (a classic vs pop material)

BR is now in my top 10 favorite flicks

"I saw the Devil" is the best mind-f*ck-thriller I've seen since "Old Boy". It actually kept me on edge for the full running time of over 2hrs & 20min. I'm in awe of Choi Min-sik, the lead actor in both movies.

Don't watch the trailers; take my word for it. Btw, you're gonna need a break after watching, so don't plan on seeing both movies even remotely close to one another. 

Also, here's another title that South Korean Cinema takes - Best Monster Movie (non-classic) - "The Host"

I saw "I Saw the Devil" a few months ago...one of the most fun movies I've seen in a long time and I had to watch "Oldboy" again a few days later just so I could see more of Choi Min-sik. Choi's performance for his character in "I Saw the Devil" is hands down the best portrayal of a villain I've ever seen.
