am slightly dismayed that Gina hasn't "built a new body for the fight" as she said she wanted to a several months back. She could step up the usual 8 week camp and do so but it wouldn't be the same.

She'll take care of business 4sure, but IMO even with this mega fight she won't break the un or dissatisfaction w/ training camp that she's said she's always had.

Yeah, and there's not a lot of time. Hopefully she'll be ready when the day comes. I'm sure she will though.

But it's strange that this is on Showtime, so what does this leave Strikeforce for purported CBS shows??

^ I think they're on schedule for  a # of ShowTime shows 1st then CBS. With the ratings this show will get and possibly Fedor and whomever else, it'll def be in the future.

Also, y'all check the ppl picking Cyborg to win this fight. If not completely, their reasoning is either: fandom for the ChuteBoxer (which is fine) some hatin' for Gina, or moronic aesthetics a.k.a the testosterone vs estrogen battle this looks to be. You won't hear anything legitimate like:
- Gina is a slow starter.
- Her natural reaction is to strike back when hit and start brawling.
- Cris been doing jiu-jitsu longer and this will be the difference maker.
- Cris ain't an undersized opponent

PoD, you mentioned some good facts then. As much as I love Gina's fighting style, I agree that she has a lot of work to do in order to secure herself a victory. I'm already starting to lose hair, haha!
