HDNet Fights
« on: April 18, 2009, 05:31:48 AM »
I've been watching these over the last several days off and on and its pretty good.  Its been showing the Dream tournament from Japan and the fights have been excellent for the most part.  Anyone else catch MMA on there?

Their tagline is truth - HDnet is the home for MMA. It gets me some high quality Kakutougi (Japanese MMA) fix. Some ppl are complainin about the new several days of tape delay tho. Better than not at all I say. I use it as a reason to stay off the net and rewards for getting good work/workouts done.

You missed the recent Dream lightweight tourney, but they'll replay, it was gr8.

Its also turning alot of ppl onto K-1 kickboxing.

Soon I'll put up all the Inside MMA video clips of Gina. Her 2 show appearances and the others.

Yeah, definitely upload those. I gotta update the featured video section on the front page soon. It's been long overdue.

yeah well, there is not much you can do. Like you said in the chat on the frontpage it's not like she gets interviewed every week to see what she is doing.

y'all should checkout the K-1 Max tournament premiering this Friday. A Thai fighter named Buakaw Por Pramuk is competing. Gina admires him alot and once said training w/ him is wish of hers.

He was good but almost got his self KO'd in the 1st rd.  He is lucky Dida was a bitch after that.

I guess Amade was thinking, "he's still here, coming after my legs and ribs.. and all my weapons (hooks) aren't landing!"

Yeah, Buakaw broke the upset streak. An accomplishment, IMO. Considering he is a slow starter and ALL the mma fighters who taken upsets have jumped right out of the blocks. He's lucky he didn't beat Dida in the semis, only to have to fight in the final minutes later.

The final 8 in July will be very entertaining.

I loved Krause's KO of the that charasmatic Japanese dude.  He got "pwnd" as the announcer kept saying.
