I have found out in saskatchewan  its illegal to have pro mma competitions which sucks I guess cause things like the ufc or strikeforce will never come here and my friend has a friend who does mma and he says its hard to do competitions when you have to go to other parts of canada to fight where it is legal instead of having them here.

Things could change in the future as the MMA sport grows in popularity with more Canadian stars.
