This is annoying... I tried to edit it, and it works fine, but then it doesn't want to update it on the actual main page. What's up with that? If you get it right by all means.  :) Just don't forget to put "Phoenix" by Author Alias. Need to save my ego here, LOL! Girls have them too.  :P

Yeah, i noticed that too lately on my last article. I couldn't change my own article while logged on. The only way I could change it was to goto the admin frontend to do it. Jen, can you take a look at this?

I'll updated that article for you Phoenix. Hopefully this gets fixed.

Heres the changes I did

  • Aligned photo to left, horizontal padding 8px
  • Fixed the link so it says Source: Fightline.com, changed properties to "open to new window". This way, when a reader clicks on the link, it will open the article in a new window while still leaving the reader on gina-carano.org
  • Removed the "Read More" because you had it at the end of the article right before the source link. You only use "read more" when its a long article and you want to cut down the size on the frontpage

Did all those when editing, so it kinda sucked that I couldn't update it. Thanks for helping me out.  ;D

Edit: New article, 2 things I need to sort out once Jen fixes up the editor: Pic padding, and second link to open in new window. Will be more careful next time, promise.   :'(

The article is a little long for the front page, so Im going to use the read more..

Oh, can I ask you one thing though? How were you able to upload the photo to the site for that article? I've always had to upload it to tinyurl.com for my articles.

Thanks for your help.  8) I just went to the "image" link and when the little window opened I selected browse, selected the pic that I had saved to my comp and uploaded it. Then once it was an option, I clicked on "insert".  :)

I think there is a bug in the editing side of articles on the frontend. :( I've submitted a ticket for it, but in the meantime, just let us know if you need to edit anything and we will do it. I'm sorry. Sucks though....

You were right, it was a bit spacey. I got rid of them for you Bastian. Very good job for your first post Bastiaan. You even used the blockquotes and you made sure the article wasn't too long. I've read the original article before and it was very long, so good job picking out the part to quote
