HOLIDAY GIFTS FOR GINA FANS
« on: December 12, 2012, 04:59:01 PM »
If you are looking for the perfect gift for that special Carano fan there are a few options out there. Unfortunately there is no complete compilation of Gina’s fights on DVD so, short of making your own, you will have to settle for these –

FIGHT RELATED VIDEO :

Muay Thai Ring Girls (2005) – This is a hard to find import. The film centers around Gina and a few other female fighters from Vegas, ending in a big Muay Thai tournament in Thailand. If only all of Gina's Muay Thai fights were on DVD.

Elite XC : Destiny – Shamrock vs. Gracie (2008) Originally aired on Showtime, Gina takes on brawler Julie Kedzie in the historic first ever televised female MMA match.

Elite XC : Primetime – Kimbo Slice vs. “Colossus” Thompson (2008) Broadcast on CBS, Gina goes head-to-head with Muay Thai striker Kaitlin Young.

Elite XC : Uprising – Rua vs. Lawler (2008) Fighting in Hawaii, Gina takes on wrestling champion Tonya Evinger

Caged For Life (2009) – A behind the scenes look at Gina and three other fighters

ENTERTAINMENT FLICKS :

Haywire (2012) Gina stars in butt-kicking glory as Mallory Kane

American Gladiators Ultimate Workout (2008)

Blood & Bone (2009) -- Yeah, Gina has only about a 30 second cameo, but the movie has some pretty good action.

COLLECTIBLES :

Sports Cards

2008 Donruss Americana Series 2 - Ring Kings Inserts (There is also an Autographed, as well as a Fight Worn Jersey version)
2010 Leaf MMA #10
2012 Leaf Hall of Fame National Sports Collector Promo GC1
2012 Leaf Pop Century Autographed Card

Round 5 Series 4 MMA Action Figure
Round 5 Walkoutwear.com Action Wear UFC Exclusive Action Figure

MEDIA

ESPN The Body Issue October 19, 2009 – Gina on the Cover
Muscle & Fitness Magazine July 2008

There are a lot of “Haywire” autographed photos and movie props floating around. Amazon.com sells most of these as well as Gina’s movie worn green sweatshirt and gloves from the movie if you've got some coin to drop. Coolest thing I've seen is an autographed fight glove on EBay. As always do your research when buying anything on EBay as there are a lot of fakes.

Feel free to add to the list if you come across anything!

Ho, ho, ho and Merry Christmas!
